We differ from typical treatment centers because we employ a medically-based, scientifically proven multidisciplinary intervention program that aims to treat the root causes of your child's difficulties, not just the symptoms. We evaluate and treat patients of all ages, from toddlers to young adults.

Interdisciplinary
Many children with language disabilities have co-occurring difficulties with sensorimotor, attention and/or behavioral control.
The Wellington-Alexander Center evaluates and treats all of these areas.

Intensive
Research shows that the more intense the treatment, the better the outcome.
When treated daily, the gains far exceed gains resulting from equivalent hours of therapy received 1-2 days/week over a period of years.
Gains are made in weeks rather than months - not only cost-efficient, but time-saving in the long run.
Individualized
Treatment is designed specifically for each depending on the evaluation findings.
Each individual is treated on a 1:1 basis and treatment plans are adjusted on a daily basis.
When all of the developmental pieces of the "puzzle" (language, attention/behavior and sensorimotor) are addressed intensively, systematically and in an integrated manner, individuals are able to reach their full potential.
